About us

Why a virtual pilgrimage?

For over 30 years the Ursuline family of North America has gathered every 3 years in Convocation.  The “times & circumstances” of the pandemic, however, challenged us to explore Angela’s penchant for “doing differently.”  Crossing the continent, our creative collaboration gave rise to the 2022 Virtual Pilgrimage, the greenest, most inclusive Convocation ever!

Angela’s imagination alive among us continues to inspire new ways of gathering.  Whether revisiting the Pilgimage Stations, browsing the Pilgrim’s Guidebook  or consulting the Index for a specific resource, we welcome you to explore the diverse offerings available at osuconvo.com. Beyond a platform, let this be a Piazza for ongoing Ursuline Encuentro!

Making the Way by Walking....

When pilgrims go on pilgrimage, they traditionally go from station to station. Our pilgrimage leads us through 6 Ursuline stations: from Angela’s Italy to our Canadian family at Brescia University College in Ontario, to United States Congregations in Youngstown and Louisville, then welcomed west to the Navajo Nation, and finally, Angela accompanies us to the Piazza in Mexico. Our pilgrimage offers opportunities for contemplative prayer, even as we reflect on the challenges of our time and the way they change us.

Welcome to all who join us on the way – for together we make the way by walking….
