Fifth Centenary of Angela’s Holy Land Pilgrimage
Seeing with the eyes of the soul...
On Corpus Christi, May 26th, 1524, St Angela Merici embarked on a momentous pilgrimage to the Holy Land… For this Fifth Centenary of Angela’s Pilgrimage to the Holy Land, we open this virtual space to support future shared reflection and celebration. The 2022 Challenged and Changed for Our Times virtual Pilgrimage continues to be available on this website.
Upcoming events will be posted on the Virtual Vine Bulletin below. Suggested Pilgrimage 500 resources for group or personal reading are listed in the AMOR Bulletin. [To rotate between the four bulletin panels, click the side arrows]
Angela’s imagination alive among us continues to inspire new ways of gathering. Whether revisiting the Pilgimage Stations, browsing the Pilgrim’s Guidebook or consulting the Index for a specific resource, we welcome you to explore the diverse offerings available at osuconvo.com. Beyond a platform, let this be a Piazza for ongoing Ursuline Encuentro! Throughout this 5th Centenary of Pilgrimage, watch the bulletin board for new opportunities to gather. May Saint Angela accompany us as we journey together!
Making the Way by Walking....
When pilgrims go on pilgrimage, they traditionally go from station to station. The 2022 “Challenged and Changed For Our Times Pilgrimage traverses 6 Ursuline stations: from Angela’s Italy to our Canadian family at Brescia University College in Ontario, on to United States Congregations in Youngstown and Louisville, westward to the Navajo Nation, and culminates in Mexico. The Angela Retreat offers opportunity for reflection in the midst of the challenges of our time.
Join us, for together we make the way by walking….
